Seaweed rice rolls — Korea's answer to 'I need food that travels'.

🧺 Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked short-grain rice + 1 tsp sesame oil + pinch of salt
- 4 sheets gim (roasting seaweed)
- 1 egg, made into a thick omelet strip
- Ham or imitation crab, in strips
- Pickled radish (danmuji) + blanched spinach + carrot strips

Season warm rice with sesame oil and salt; let it cool slightly.

Lay gim shiny-side down, spread rice thin over 2/3 of it.

Line up the fillings in a neat row across the middle.

Roll firmly — squeeze like you mean it, or it falls apart at the door.

Brush with sesame oil, slice with a wet knife. Eat the end pieces as tax.
